Innovation in Geothermal & Thermal Energy Storage
Throught the Geo-Cluster we announce the first Joint Mobilization and Mutual Learning (MML) Workshop. This milestone event brings together 12 expert presentations from 8 cutting-edge EU projects (GEOSYN, GEOS-TECHIS, INTERSTORES, RE-WITCH, HOCLOOP, USES4HEAT, URGENT, GEOFLEXheat), showcasing the latest innovations, methodologies, and policy perspectives in geothermal energy and advanced thermal storage.
This workshop marks a new step in fostering collaboration between Europe’s top research and innovation projects, uniting science, industry, and policy for the clean energy transition through two dynamic sessions:
- Session 1: Geothermal Innovations & Advanced Thermal Energy Storage – Discover breakthrough technologies for industrial decarbonization.
- Session 2: Methodologies, Prototypes & Policy Outlook – Explore the future of geothermal and TES through – Dynamic modelling approaches; Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies; Urban geothermal solutions; Market integration pathways; Presentations will feature contributions from leading researchers and industry experts.
