Our Climate Future 2025: Geothermal Energy as a Driver for European Competitiveness, Decarbonisation and Energy Security
On 14 October 2025, leading geothermal experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and climate scientists will gather at the EFTA House Auditorium in Brussels for Our Climate Future 2025.
Hosted by Green by Iceland and Business Iceland, in cooperation with the Mission of Iceland to the EU, the symposium will highlight how Iceland’s unique expertise in geothermal energy can support Europe’s goals for competitiveness, decarbonisation, and energy security.
With the EU’s Geothermal Action Plan on the horizon, the event will serve as a pivotal platform to exchange best practices, foster partnerships, and address shared challenges—followed by a networking reception to continue the dialogue.
