This year’s European Geosciences Union (EGU) Assembly, held in Vienna (Austria), has been a focal event for the global geoscience community, bringing together eminent international experts and researchers. We are proud to announce that INTERSTORES coordinators, Prof. Peter Bayer and Dr. Christoph Bott attended this year’s EGU.
Christoph Bott presented a poster titled “Modeling and Simulation of Combined Basin Structures for Seasonal Thermal Energy Storage” highlighting innovative approaches to energy storage solutions essential for sustainable development and innovations in the field. The presentation attracted attention for its insightful analysis and potential impact on future applications of seasonal Thermal Energy Storage. Read more in the abstract. The poster presentation is also available upon request.
The EGU General Assembly is renowned for its inclusive atmosphere, particularly encouraging young scientists to engage with seasoned experts across diverse geoscience disciplines. This event has been an excellent opportunity for our partners to showcase their innovative research and propel the INTERSTORES project to the scientific community and beyond.
